The God Who Sees
No one’s gaze compares to His. No recognition you receive from others is greater than His attention. And no reward compares to the one He gives.
So, in the wilderness, in the affliction—friend—cling to these truths about who God is: He pursues us, He listens to us, and He sees us.

The Weary in Heart
So, let your weary heart find comfort in Jesus. The One who is the founder and perfecter of your faith. The One who for the joy set before Him endured the cross. The One who endured hostility from sinners so that you would not grow weary. Friend, consider Him and never stop looking to Him! Only in doing so can you lay aside every weight and sin. Only in doing so can you run the race set before you. And only in doing so can you find the joy you need to endure all things.

Return, Oh Wanderer, Return
If you’re carrying the weight of a wandering loved one, I hope these words offer some encouragement to you. Whether you’re the wanderer or the one who loves them, remember that ultimately, salvation belongs to the Lord. He is faithful to pursue, to call, and to bring those who are His back to Himself.
